Long dress in black silk gazar, cut at waistline. The bodice is fitted with darts and gathering that starts at the sides and reaches downward to the centre of the back. Round neckline and sleeveless. Évasée line, longer at the back than the front. It has an elegant train. Lined at the neckline and hem with black satin.

The classic simplicity of the front contrasts with the Baroque complexity of the back, emphasised by the regal train. Gazar, created in 1958 by the Swiss manufacturer Abraham, was essential to achieve the spectacular volumes featured in this evening dress.
