Ng Yuen-wa believes that lithograph images are lively and carefree. The transparent colour layers combine aesthetic qualities of free-hand painting and printing which forms a unique kind of artistic expression in her eyes. Party with Candle Light and Evening of the Happy Valley are a profound exemplification of Ng’s artistic taste and distinctive techniques on lithography.
