Expedition 10 Landing

Expedition 10 Commander Leroy Chiao is carried onto a Russian transport vehicle after a pre-dawn landing in the Soyuz TMA-5 capsule Monday, April 25, 2005 northeast of the town of Arkalyk, Kazakhstan. Chiao and Expedition 10 Flight Engineer Salizhan Sharipov wrapped up a six-month mission aboard the International Space Station, while European Space Agency astronaut Roberto Vittori completed a ten-day mission aboard the ISS under a commercial contract between ESA and the Russian Federal Space Agency.
