Expedition 43 Russian Cosmonaut Gennady Padalka of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) waves farewell to family and friends as he and fellow crew members NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly, and Russian Cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko depart building 254 for their launch onboard the Soyuz TMA-16M spacecraft to the International Space Station Friday, March 27, 2015 in Baikonor, Kazakhstan. Kelly, Padalka, and Kornienko launched to the ISS from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan March 28, Kazakh time (March 27 Eastern time.)
