A new and unique experimental facility in the PS South Hall (where the first high-energy physics experiments at CERN were carried out in 1960). The low-energy antiproton ring (LEAR) will supply experimenters with a steady uncontaminated flux of antiprotons in the momentum range 0.1-2 GeV/c.
