An extract from William Williams' (Pantycelyn) 'Pantheologia, neu, Hanes Holl Grefyddau'r Byd', in English 'Panethologia, or All The Religions of the World'. 'Pantheologia' discusses religions from all across the globe and includes geographical, historical, natural descriptions. In this extract, Williams criticises the business of slaving in Guinea, describing the horrors of the Middle Passage and the heinous treatment of slaves in the Americas.

In the course of his lifetime, Williams produced almost 90 books and pamphlets. The National Library of Wales has digitized all of William Williams Pantycelyn's published works (over 4,000 pages) as well as two of his manuscripts.
