The historical flag of the Camphausen royal coal pit is decorated with an eagle which holds a golden badge with a hammer and pick signet in its claws. The flag was inaugurated at a ceremonial striking of the pit in 1871. After it was initially declared missing after the closure of the pit in 1990, it is currently stored in a cabinet of the Fischbach-Camphausen mining association.
