The front of the Miners' Association flag of the Barbara fraternity in Fraulautern is adorned with a Barbara figure on a light-blue background with her palm and host which appears before an sick miner. They are surrounded by the lettering "St. Barbara Verein Fraulautern 1905". Embroidered hammers and iron motifs are in all four corners. The reverse side shows a Trinity figuration on a yellow background: God Father, Christ and the Holy Ghost. The flag is an expression of deep religious beliefs and the close bond with the omnipresent patron saint.
