A 2" scale model Savage's roundabout with three-abreast galloping horses and cockerels, called 'Fred Fox's Galloping Steam Horses'. The model is fully working, using an electric motor and compressor, which turns the roundabout, and lights it up. The roundabout turns anti-clockwise (the American way) and the horses and cockerels move in a galloping motion. In the middle of the roundabout is a centre engine which works the movement. Surrounding the centre engine are a series of decorative panels. Covering the roundabout is a striped cotton cover. A fairground organ or 'Music Gaviolli' is also sited in the roundabout on cart wheels, and has a conductor figure whose hands move up and down.
