Fela & the Kalakuta Queens' in Egypt. Terra Kulture is home to the Powerhouse theatre and movie Production company, BAP Productions. BAP Productions is the first Nigerian Production Company to perform at the London West End and Shaw Theatres (''Wakaa! The Musical'', July 2016). BAP Productions also brought to life the legendary Afrobeats Icon and activist, Fela Kuti in the “Fela’s Republic and The Kalakuta Queens” musical. This globally acclaimed musical has gone on to become the biggest out of West Africa having had over 120,000 people watch it and being shown in Lagos, Cairo and down south in Pretoria between 2017 and 2020. BAP Productions also produced in 2018, “Moremi the Musical” which tells the story of the 12th century Yoruba legend Queen who liberated the people of Ife from the grasp of their enemies. Nobel Prize winning Author, Wole Soyinka called “Moremi The Musical” a theatrical landmark in the Nigerian theatre history. The play was created and directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters.
