Field Trip

This piece was purchased in memory of a former museum board member, volunteer and artist, Leslie Hamilton, and perfectly blends her love of glass, museums, and art. The work depicts a young girl standing behind a museum stanchion, studying the two paintings before her. If you look closely, you'll note that the paintings don't hang from a wall, but the pages of a book, possibly referencing the vast knowledge to be gained from a museum field trip.
