Fight of Animals

In the first version of the artwork from 1968, Crocetti reworks –in a less vertical way- the fight between the two beasts created 6 years before (ACO076), anticipating, even if in a hinted way, the circular composition developed horizontally that the artist will create only in 1974. The two wild beasts seem to fight without a true winner, the animal on the ground is indeed about to bite its opponent above it, which stretches its neck in a spasm of pain.
