Maitreya puts his right arm up to point to the distance, stands on a quadrate support which with three layers. The floor, on which façade it was painted kunmen(a purfle pattern whose shape like doorframe), in which it was painted the twiner with black color and then spread green color on, and painted red color out of the kunmen; the second layer, delineated the black line, the facade and two sides were spread green color, but the back is white; top layer, delineated the black and red lines, calligraphed the Chinese characters "Shou Zhi Bai Yun Mi Le"(means A Maitreya whose finger points to the cloud) on the white background. During the Song and Jin dynasties, the Buddha statues in red and green colored porcelain changed the fixed and monotonous postures, expressions and clothing patterns of the previous Buddhas, its lines become fluid, flowing and vivid, and the Buddha's portrayal becomes more mundane, with a vivid and engrossing look.
