Scott Stillinger developed the Koosh Ball in 1986 out of rubber filaments or strings radiating from a soft plasma core. He developed it as an easy ball for his young children to grasp and throw. Stillinger began OddzOn Products, Inc. to manufacture, market, and distribute his invention. The Koosh Ball was one of the hottest toys of the 1988 Christmas season. Its popularity continues: OddzOn sell millions of Koosh Balls each year.
