Figure of a Lion / "Sher"

It is a figure of a lion, ready for action with mouth open and teeth bared.It is a simple figure whose central elements (the head and body) are wheel-thrown by a potter, and then limbs, facial features, ornamentation are added. Lions are offered to the goddess Dhante Sara Devi and Mauli Devi to prevent illness and avoid misfortune and trouble.
