Figurine with mould-made head on hand-modelled body. 'Tlaloc'. Wearing headdress, earspools, neck ornament and loin cloth. Seated, with elbows resting on knees, arms folded. Headdress consists of a plain band immediately above the forehead with the lower half of a pair of eye-rings showing and a wide, textured turban with a textured dome and side feather ornament on top. The intact earspools are discs with a raised ring and central dot. The finely moulded face has defined brows , lidded and rimmed eyes, curved nose, lipped open mouth and narrow chin. The neck ornament is a plain ring with an elongated horizontal object suspended from it (a horizontal incised line across the upper third, two short vertical lines in the centre, one half missing). Torso slim with a roll and disc around the waist, supported by a backstand with a straight base.The folded arms have an angular cross-section, the hand has three indented grooves representing the fingers. The legs are broken off at the knees. Back of headdress concave. White pigment on the front and back of the headdress, red pigment on the eye-ring band.
