First commercial gas turbine, produced by General Electric, after installation at the Belle Isle power station of the Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company. After the turbine was taken out of service, it was returned to GE, put on display at its Schenectady Works, and was named an American Society of Mechanical Engineers landmark.
