The turbine-generator was designed and manufactured by General Electric. 5000 kW Turbine direct connected to ATB-6-5000-500-9000-Volt Form T Generator. First 5000 kW Turbine set in test, March 12, 1903. Obsolete by 1909, it was returned to GE's Schenectady Works, where it remains today as an American Society of Mechanical Engineers Historical Landmark.
