First research notes on Columbus: “Beatriz Enríquez in a nightgown, Christopher Columbus in a nightshirt. History of their relationships by José de la Torre y del Cerro. Researcher of matters that are none of his business.” Early draft and final published copy of the book entitled "Beatriz Enríquez de Harana y Cristóbal Colón" (Beatriz Enríquez de Harana and Christopher Columbus). “Early in the summer of 1911, my brother Antonio and the person honored to deliver these words, turned to the Archive of Protocols to conduct research on Beatriz Enríquez and Christopher Columbus, the father of her son Ferdinand. We then came across the oldest known documents on the Cervantes from Cordoba,” states De la Torre in his work "La familia de Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra" (The family of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra).
