First Train at New Alexandra Palace Station

Originally three railway stations served Alexandra Palace, including one that brought visitors up to the building. Two stations were closed in 1959 and later removed. At the base of the hill, outside Alexandra Park, the former Wood Green station was renamed Alexandra Palace in 1982. It was reopened by actress Diana Dors.
