Fishermen

The artist said, “This work was inspired by Sumerian ritual but with a modern technique and presentation. It was a coating of 3 oxides in equal proportions (iron, manganese, and cobalt), turquoise, and 5% alkaline frit, gilded copper oxide at a temperature of 650 °C. I worked on this ceramic to remember my childhood as an experienced fisherman since elementary school."
