Flat oval-shaped bisque plate with a convex base ring bearing a vase containing a round-bodied posy of flowers, with other flowers also arranged around the vase. A coating of transparent glaze has been applied to flowers, leaves and stems.

The plate is decorated with mouldings and gold-painted. The flowers and leaves are painted in colours, with a low-fired glaze applied on the bisque.

The piece is the work of sculptor and decorator Concha Laca, who was given her own workshop at Porcelanas Bidasoa from 1957, due to her great skill in modelling and reproducing motifs from nature in the porcelain which she then painted. With help from two operators, Laca was in charge of the whole process of design, manufacture and decoration of the pieces. Here series of especially delicate flowers was not sold commercially.
