The Florita periodical was a collection of comic book stories, competitions, tasks and townlife made for children. It was a hit thanks to its realistic representation of life in 1950s Spain. This copy is issue #203, year V.

Florita was a popular comic book character. She was created by Vicente Roso in 1947, and was an upper-class girl who personified modernity. Many young people identified with her at the time. Her character was so popular that a publication aimed at a young female audience was named after her, and pages by various authors were included in the publication. The Cliper publishing house started publishing the comic book in Barcelona in 1949.
