Flower Baskets Coverlet

This coverlet was made for Catharine Clement (1803-1892) who married Adam Crysler Clement in 1823 in Niagara. Catharine was born in Niagara to Frederick Markle and Rebecca Pickard in 1803. It is assumed that Catharine and Adam live in Niagara from the time of their marriage until 1849 when they moved to the Walkerton area. This coverlet was woven by Moses Grobb in 1860.
