Flower I

Born in Albergaria-A-Velha, Aveiro. Studied Arts in ESBAP, and was a high school teacher for 30 years, she is now retired fully assumingher artistic activity.
Her creative process, however, is restless and experimental. The artist collects, reuses and recycles used material, waste product that over a lifetime we, collector beings. They are remains of frames, acrylic plates and rods, pieces of wood, small stones from beaches, a lace towel, a dish that falls and gets an interesting form, shards of CD's, mirrors, laces, tulle… Everything is immaterial matter and in the fusion of all, with white ink, that works are born of rich textures, plastically complex.
