Footballer - Maddern

Studio portrait of a footballer, most likely Kenwick Maddern, who appears in newspaper sports pages as a leading player for Port Adelaide 1924-1930. It is unclear if the uniform is South Adelaide (there are no Trove records of him playing for Souths) or South Australia. He won the SA Football League medal for most goals in a season in 1929. The name "Maddern" is written on the negative and "1/2 doz PC".
