Foreign soldiers

As far back as the stone carvings of the Han period, foreign soldiers had always been depicted as having a high nasal bridge and deep-set eyes, and wearing pointed caps. The character’s curly mustache and eyebrows, as well as his apparel, possess the characteristics of minority ethnicities.
