In summer, we can often see a kind of insect with a green and soft body and four large, transparent wings, flying slowly in the air. This is the famous insect killer - green lacewing. It is a kind of predatory insect belonging to the order Neuroptera that have 1,350 species of 86 genera known in the world. About 100 species of 15 genera are found in China and widely distributed throughout the country.
