Tamba ware is pottery being produced around Hyogo Prefecture, Sasayama City. It begins production in the late Heian period. In the Middle Ages, Tamba ware was made by the handmade manufacturing method. Yellow-green glaze is applied to the nature in this pot. On the shoulder, it is decorated with a line engraving pattern looking like a flower. We feel the kindness and generosity in this pot. It may be said that this pot is a masterpiece of the Tamba ware of Middle Ages.
