Guided by these premises, he presented an exhibition at the MUSA in 2012 entitled Esencial (Essential). The exhibition consisted of a series of sculptures, installations and drawings, including the works Fragmento de lluvia I (Fragment of Rain I) and Fragmento de lluvia diagonal (Fragment of Diagonal Rain), which now form part of the museum’s collection. The two pieces transmit the transparency and movement of drops of water falling vertically or diagonally made from materials as highly contrasting as nylon and steel. Both pieces were set up specifically for the space in the museum, as their dimensions change to adjust to the place in which they are installed, making each installation a new and unique work of art.
