This fragment is dyed by clumped resist dyeing method with deep and pale safflower red. There are two pieces of fragments with the same design and its pattern was dyed by very large woodblock. A long tailed bird is pausing on a standing flower like peonies, and there is a stone with Japanese pumpas grasses on the background pictoriality. The usage of this fragment is unknown.
