This fragment was dyed with three woodblock by wax resist dyeing method. The one is the canopy with hanging decoration. Another one is a big tree with pale blue color. The lest one is a small flying bird. At first, its fabric was dyed with madder red, and after that, it was dyed with indigo blue. The Tokyo National Museum has other fragment with the same design, but those usages are unknown.
