Fragments of a brocaded silk sari, the field is green silk brocaded with gold-wrapped thread in a diagonally striped floral design; in the corner is a large buta in gold-wrapped thread, contaning birds and animals. The pallu is of red silk, with a very deep (87 cm) band woven in gold-wrapped thread, depicting plants and men on horseback hunting wild animals, with decorative bands on either side and scrolling plant designs.
