Gaammee Children of the Borana Oromo

Borana Oromo children in the Gaammee Gadaa category (for those between 8-16 years old) have their hair done in the distinctive style where the crown is shaved and is not grown back until they reach the next age group. Right behind them are the Kuusa members (for those between the ages of 16-24). After one Gadaa, the Gaammee boys will become Kuusaa.
