    IMAGED 14 APR 2022 Botanical Research Institute of Texas HERBARIUM OF THE NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN PLANTS OF MEXICO Galinsoga (stematella) urticifolia (HBK.) Benth. MICHOACAN: Thin soil around rocks in light shade in ravine in pine-oak zone 13 miles south of Ario de Rosales. Elevation about 100 feet. Disk yellow, rays white, 3 or sometimes 4. Ray and disk- flowers both fertile. Pappus none. Phyllaries subtending the rays each weakly joined to the 2 adjacent receptacular bracts, partly enclosing the ray achenes.
