Sid Sackson was one of the most respected game designers, and gamers, of the mid and late 20th century. Revered by his peers, Sackson is best known for his game Acquire, which has been in publication since its invention. Besides many other games, Sackson authored several books considered authoritative on the subject of games and gaming. The Strong holds many of Sackson's game prototypes, some of which were published, others not.
