In 2014 Gryphon Games published six art-based games, designed and originally published by Sid Sackson in his book "Beyond Tic Tac Toe," in 1975. Each game is based on a work by a prominent Op-art artist. Four different color dry erase markers allow for up to four players, who in general color in specific shapes within the line-drawn artworks, to accumulate points by various means. A quote from Sackson's book compares good games to good works of music, which are brought to life when played by musicians. "A game," he stated, was "brought to life by the players..." Each game was named for the artist who inspired the design.
