Garlic frying for bamia mafrouka

Bamia Mafrouka is cooked dried powdered okra in broth with garlic. Its a soup or rather a tick stew that can be eaten with okra is out of season. The okra is cleaned and dried in small cubes before being pounded by hand into a powder. It is a typical dish from Upper Egypt’s Nubian communities.
