Gate

"Gate" is a symbol representing quest of tinkering with the limits of the senses. Thus, the resulting form can be considered a thin red line drawn between the inside and the outside. Showing the inside and outside simultaneously, this work pushes the viewer to experience a higher perception. Beyond the structural relations that have become familiar to the eye, the audience is stranded with this viewpoint pushing the boundaries of perception. Just as music, the intangible and invisible, bonds only with the spirit of the listener, the viewer leans to the form for a connection between the self and the invisible but perceivable space.
