This cast-iron band stand sits on an island in the middle of an ornamental pond in Gheluvelt Park. Built in c1923 it was the gift of the High Sheriff of Worcestershire, Alfred Wiggin. At the time, the park was being laid out as a municipal amenity and war memorial.
