Ghodiyu (Cradle)

A ghodiyu is a cradle made from wooden supports. Jholiya is a fabric that is tied to the cradle frame, to form a bed like a hammock for the infant to sleep in. Horseheads are common carvings on the top part of the supports and are considered auspicious.
