Glass cup with dimple motif Front

The glass is hand polished and has a round base and globular body. The rim is slightly inverted. Eight rows of concave spherical shapes are polished into the glass, making a dimple design. A large dimple is polished into the base of the cup. Each row of the dimple motif is staggered and some of the shapes are hexagonal, forming a tortoiseshell pattern. The glass' pale brown color is revealed under a white, weathered layer. Although the glass is not as transparent as it was originally, it is still iridescent in places, suggesting an underlying brilliance.
