Dated the 28.06.1880 this telegram informs Captain Standish of the events as they occurred. At this stage, the civilians were freed from Annie Joness hotel, Joe Byrne was mortally wounded and Steve and Dan were still in the hotel. Police had also been instructed to keep firing at the hotel.
