Gold Investiture Book of Imperial Prince Wan

This is a two-fold investiture book of condolence that King Sunjong dedicated to his elder brother, Imperial Prince Wan, for his lamenting premature death. It is covered with red rectangular silk on a gold base, with incised arabesque patterns. Bound with red thread, each fold contains six vertically inscribed lines of writings.
