Gold medal won by Lily Beaurepaire for first place in the 200 Yards Team swim at the V.L.A.S.A. competition on 10th March, 1917. Medal shaped like a life belt bound with ropes enclosing an enamel blue crown and white shield. Blue scroll along lower edge reads "CHAMPIONSHIP". Inscription around belt reads "10'3'17 / V.L.A.S.A.". Loop attachment at top. Reverse inscription reads "200 YDS TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP VICTORIA / 1st / Albert Park / MISS L. DE BEAUREPAIRE".
