After Being Cast With Gold These Are Inlaid As Parts Of Different Sized Dresses, Handbags, High-Heeled Shoes And Ties. These Fragments Are An Elegy To Modern Industry, Only Acceptable After Being Covered In Gold. In This Way, Warren Silently Mocks The Consumerism Of Modern Life, Because The Clothes And Jewelry He Creates Should Not Really Exist.
Beautiful Things Are Always Moving To See, Resplendent Clothes Always Touch A Sense Of Beauty We All Have. Only If You Look Very Carefully Beyond The Golden Imagery Created By The Artist Does The Visitor Discover That These Works Are In Fact Combinations Of Cultural Waste. Wayne Warren Searches For Small Parts Of Daily Life, Using Both Garbage And Household Items As Creative Materials. These Are Derived From The Waste Of Human Civilization.
