The Golden Hall of the Art Palace of Georgia represents the history and evolution of Georgian national costumes from early middle ages until the first half of the 20th century. The royal costume of the Queen Tamar of Georgia, restored according to the fresco of Vardzia monastery and the golden thread embroidery garment of the queen Tekle dated back to the 17th century, along with unique fireplace ‘Venus’ are one of the important items in the Golden Hall.
