Grey, green, and black tweed suit

Tweed suit of black, grey, and green wool, with three large buttons closing the jacket. The skirt has been lengthened by the addition of a plain grey wool panel at the top of the skirt. This was not an uncommon practice to lower the length of skirts after the New Look of spring 1947
