The ground-breaking ceremony at the shaft IV was celebrated with dignity at the Camphausen coal mine on 31 October 1908. The workforce is standing in front of the drilled structure decorated with fir green and inscribed with the first lines of the old miners' song "Es grüne die Tanne, es wachse das Erz. Gott schenke uns Allen ein fröhliches Herz" in their miners' uniform. The world's first reinforced concrete winding tower was built above the shaft IV of Camphausen.
