This bottle-green bonnet of silk in satin weave has a balloon-like, ruffled, unlined cap portion and a wide, stiffened screen. An edging of silk ribbon conceals the attachment of the ballooning back and forms a loose bow on the crown. The screen border is studded with small rosettes of green silk ribbon and a green cord frames the bottom of the cap, laid in folds.
